The purpose of ULTRA GROW calf starter is to transition the calf from the milk feeding period to dry feeding period. Calf starter feed is very important to healthy rumen development, fast body growth and successful weaning of calf.
Our ULTRA GROW calf starter is palatable, nutritious and provide unique energy and carbohydrate source to enhance muscle development, growth and weight gain.
ULTRA GROW calf starter should be offered around day five age in shallow bucket. Start with a handful and gradually increase that amount as the calf begins to consume all that is in the bucket. All buckets should be emptied and refreshed daily with clean feed. Keep calves on starter feed until they achieve 70-80 kg body weight.
